Discovering Your Senses 

A 90-minute introductory class designed to help you explore your senses, increase mindful awareness, and promote well-being.

If you are experiencing stress, anxiety or overwhelm, are struggling with life (career, relationships, finding meaning), and aren’t sure where to start, this 90-minute introductory class is the perfect way to get your feet wet in the world of mindful awareness. 

This class is designed specifically for the beginner, no previous training or experience is necessary. Together, we will explore principles to help you understand the stress and anxiety you are going through, and what next steps might be right for you. 

Learning Objectives:

  • To discover the 5 senses … and more!
  • Identify different types of awareness
  • Learn some basic awareness practices
  • Understand what mindfulness is
  • Appreciate the interplay between stress and relaxation
  • Recognize how mindful awareness can influence stress, anxiety, and well-being
  • Learn about the primary functions of your nervous system and how it influences stress and relaxation
  • Become more familiar with your own nervous system
  • Learn to understand, appreciate, and work with your stress and relaxation responses

When you sign up, you will receive:

  • One, live, 90-minute Zoom class with Dalinda Reese and up to 5 other classmates
  • One live 90-minute follow-up Zoom class to discuss discoveries from original session
  • A PDF of the PowerPoint slides used during the class

Sessions are limited to a maximum of 6 participants.
